Dr. Monreti Modupe Ogunfiditimi-Akinleye was born with a strong religious foundation: her father, Rev. Dr. Fred Ogunfiditimi is the Spiritual Leader and Founder of International House of Prayer for All People. As a child, she was nicknamed “Mama” due to her compassionate and generous nature. Years later, many youths call her “Ma” as a form of endearment because of her dedication to providing a safe haven for them, as well as encouraging and motivating many to attain their college degrees and embark upon productive professional paths. Dr. Akinleye-Ogunfiditimi is an outstanding and energetic woman, her passion for community engagement is evident from the moment someone interacts with her. She has created self-empowerment initiatives for Nigerian youth through a training program she created for young people to learn how to make bath and body products, such as lotions and soaps to promote entrepreneurship. An advocate and civic society leader, she saw a problem in Nigeria where people were dying due to lack of CPR knowledge and sought a solution. She is currently working on a free CPR training program in Nigeria as a way to rectify this issue.

She had her Associate in Education, LPN, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management & Administration, Associates in Nursing, and is currently working on a dual graduate degree in Public Health and Healthcare Administration in order to further her knowledge and capabilities as a healthcare provider.
